“We understand that purchasing a home is taking ownership of property. However, what we wanted at the beginning of this process was to find a place that extended beyond a financial investment. A home. A place to dwell, to water a few plants, to watch our son grow up by the penciled height marks on the door frame, to share laughs and beers with loved ones late into the night. We wanted to find a place to care for as it cared for us. Sounds like a daunting endeavor, doesn’t it? Fortunately, we found Jay. He is literally an angel sent from realtor heaven. He walked us through the house buying process, answered every ridiculous question we had with patience ensuring we thoroughly understood. (More often than not, he answered our questions through the course of conversation before we even had to ask.) We never felt rushed or burdensome. We had a few communication issues with the seller’s realtor – he was honest when he didn’t know an answer and went to lengths to get us information quickly. (Again, often before we even inquired.) At the end of the lengthy process we gained not only a property but a depth of knowledge on house buying and a few good local contacts. Moreover, at the end of this process we found our home. Jay made this endeavor relatively stress-free. Also, we had our 6 year old son with us the whole time and Jay was really patient with all those lovely interruptions and interjections. We couldn’t recommend a better realtor.”
